Your Piano Questions

Can't tell the white keys from the black keys? Don't know your right hand from your left? Have a question about piano playing?

Ask away! I'll post your questions, with my answers, to a special section of this site. Your contribution can be a real catalyst that helps other key-notes visitors learn key piano playing concepts as well.

If you'd like to ask a question in one of these categories or see other visitors' questions, just click on the links below. I've divided them into the following categories for your convenience:

(Questions that don't fit into these categories are answered here.)

I look forward to answering your piano questions!

Note that to receive a reply, you must adhere to the following rules:

  1. The key-notes principle is contribution. This website receives a lot of traffic and hence a lot of questions. I hand pick only those questions which have the potential to interest and help the most visitors. If yours is a highly specific question that is relevant to you only, contact me for online piano lessons instead. My personal expertise will be worth your time and money.
  2. Ask one question, or concentrate on a single topic. If you have multiple questions about more than one topic, simply submit them separately.
  3. You must provide your email address on the next page. It will only be used to notify you of an answer to your question or to send a personal reply if applicable. Don't worry: By submitting this form, your email address will not be published on this site, and it will not be used for marketing purposes.

P.S. Please note that I receive many duplicate questions and duplicating answers wouldn't be helpful to key-notes readers. All articles and lessons are listed on the page Free Piano Lessons Online, which serves as an index to this site.

If you need to contact me privately or you need customer service, please use the contact form instead.
